Gramabharathi Education Society and Sri S.M. Lingappa Charitable Trust in partnership with the school education Department, Krishnarajapet came together in the year 2008 to roll out Krishnarajapet’s first Taluk Level High School quiz education initiative. For over 17 years, the program has helped to enhance knowledge, awareness among rural students at the grassroots level. Keeping them abreast of the latest development in the world. The program is conducted for students studying from class 8-10 and provides them an opportunity to experience learning through the medium of quiz, which is a powerful teaching tool. Following the success of the program in Krishnarajapet the program reaches over 50 schools across Krishnarajapet every year. It is a shining example of private institution – School Education Department, Krishnarajapet partnership for the larger good of students in smaller town like Krishnarajapet.
From 8 schools participated in the year 2008, The quiz has been growing in popularity every year and has reached over 30 schools till date, in the process promoting inclusive growth and building the confidence level of rural students to Aspire for more and chase their dream.
